In the age where intellectual capital is more important than ever the government should not be subsidizing students who might or might not contribute to the Canadian mosaic. Instead of just subsidizing left and right the Liberal government should ask themselves what makes the education system out west so attractive and successful. [Click here]

Petition To Keep Ontario Dollars For Ontario Students
As a former university student in Ontario I know university can be a stressful place without the added pressures of knowing if or when you will qualify for student loans. This subsidy of foreign students is beyond the pale and a papier-mâché solution to a much larger funding formula problem. Ontario Liberals have to own up to their own mismanagement and put Ontario students first.

Subsidies Won’t Work
This week the Ontario government pledged to invest over $30 million in foreign students. The fact that should not be forgotten is that this very same Liberal government presided over massive cutbacks in quality to many post secondary institutions. As a result the students are not receiving the same quality of education they once were because universities have had to cut courses and programs in the ever-changing economics of higher education.
