Laureen Harper Stands up For Women’s Rights in Iran
This is still a shocking story and I wholeheartedly support Mrs. Harper and her comments.

“In Canada, women enjoy all the same benefits, rights and freedoms as men. But with these rights also comes responsibilities; and as such we are morally obligated to speak out publicly in defence of Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani and indeed all women in Iran.”Another in a long line of golden examples that not all countries share a the same ideals on issues of human rights and freedoms.
