Priority Number One is Jobs, Jobs, Jobs

On the weekend the Ontario PC Party released their five-point plan for job creation to get Ontario working again.

  • Treat energy policy as economic policy – not as a social program.

  • Train 200,000 more skilled workers by expanding the apprenticeship system.

  • Reduce taxes on job creators.

  • Eliminate job-killing red tape.

  • Lowering taxes on families so they have the confidence to spend  again.

These priorities are in clear contrast with the Liberal plan to make Ontario a green jobs leader. One plan is a realistic way to re-energize job growth and the other is a expensive scheme to subsidized an entire sector that has not come to maturity yet. Now I don’t know about you, but I rather vote for a plan that has practical solutions for the problems confronting the province.

Ontario PCs Bounce Back

The Ontario PCs have reclaimed a nine point among decided voters .

From Ottawa Sun

Ontario’s Progressive Conservatives are ahead of the Liberals by nine points, according to a poll of decided voters.
The Abacus Data poll found that the PCs have the support of 41% of decided Ontario voters followed by the Liberals at 32% and the NDP at 20%.
While the PCs had the largest group of supporters, a check of undecided voters showed they had the lowest room for growth.
The Liberals — who had the second largest number of committed voters — and the NDP had the greatest potential to garner support from undecided voters, according to the poll.

As polls start flying fast and furious in this campaign It becomes more important to keep an eye on the overall trends of the numbers. Indeed this is a good sign that the Ontario PCs have energized a voting base. On the other hand  we must not get complacent. We still need to hammer home the conservative message until voting day.

Limousine liberals

Today Tim Hudak hit the road trying to remind voters of the Liberals E. health boondoggleb . Hudak going as far to say the party was over for high-priced consultants, and their liberal friends . Ontarians Deserve Better

There are a multitude of reasons why the Ontario Liberals don’t deserve to be reelected. However the E health scandal stands out as the most egregious waste of the public’s money in recent memory. Finally, the Ontario PCs are addressing the long laundry list of McGuinty missteps.  I won’t be fooled again along with millions of other Ontarians, what you see is what you get with the Ontario Liberals.

Dalton’s Policy is Still Divisive

The Ontario Liberals immigration tax is the most  discouraging signal that young people entering the workforce have seen in a generation.  What the Liberals are conveying to recent graduates is no matter how hard you work or how much you invest in your self that does not matter.

It is the governments job to pick winners and losers in a evermore competitive knowledge-based economy. This liberal Affirmative Action program is disadvantaging, a whole generation of Ontarians.
